i just finished swapping a 2000 type r engine into my 96 gsr. a couple of minor problems have occured. first, the tach doesn't work ( i have the stock intrument cluster and a 98 type r ecu). second, the headlights and interior lights flicker slightly at night when the car is at idle. third, their is a slight clicking noise when i engage and disengage the clutch and for a few seconds after its disengaged ( the clutch is an act stage 1 type r clutch). thanks a lot for any help!
 
-check wiring
-Again wiring and check voltage at battery. Your alternator may be taking a shit
-most likely the TOB, howe old is the clutch. If it's new you probably didn't tighten the PP down enough.


And lastly....why did you swap a b18c5 in when a GSR has the same amount of potential?
 
im not going to even comment on that

try the GSR ecu also
 
So you did pay for it, just in a round about sort of way :)

But yea, recheck the wiring, and take a voltometer to teh trouble spots make sure you're getting power. Clutch....maybe something is lose, or the t.o.b.
