New Member
Hi all,

Im new to hondaswap and resently my wife and i picked up a new car so i now have the go ahead to project our 2001 civic LX 2dr.

just wondering if any one can point me in the direction of some good web sites to order parts from.

right now this is what im looking to do.

New rims&tires.
lowering about 1.5"
shave door handles and trunk.
new led headlights and tail lights.
body kit. nothing over the top . just more agressive look.
paint.
interior is good. just need to find a kit that i can mount my CD player in to neatly.( i will post up photos of what it looks like now. and photos after each stage is done. )

any advice. direction and help/surgestions i am very thankfull for.

thanks in advance.

rims and tires you can try tirerack.com

i have tien springs and i like them alot but do you want just springs or a whole coil over system?

paint maaco

cd player mount kit just about any auto store or best buy

as far as the springs go im not to sure. i have looked about. i would like to lower as i had said, but would also like it driverble to the point where its not swaying. and i can make a full turn if i need to. i dont want to be bouncing all over... or to stiff.

i know alot to ask for.....

cheers for the reply.

i like my springs. where i live the township people cant pave roads for the life of em so i got a lot of uneven pavement and half of my road is a dirt road and i have a more aggressive looking car and it is just as comfortable as before. i mean sure i feel the bumps a little more but not to the point where im sayin to myself wtf was i thinking getting these springs.

imo those skunk2 lowering springs are a much better ride then those ksport coilovers...also i would stay awayfrom a body kit and go with a lip kit...keep it jdm

ok so one other quick question for u's .

to day i got a remote start/ keyless entry system for the civic. how ever i need a by-pass module for the immobilizer, any one know if there is a universal by-pass out there for this?

i have looked around but im not sure is i have a Type C or Type D anti-theft system? what is the diffrence? thanks.

joel.

im all set i picked up the 555i bypass so should have it all in soon. then my coilovers should be here by wens.

starting to look at lip kits, instead of body kits. any good web sites, that any one can recomend.

thanks.
