I just got back from my first run to a drag strip. It was an 8th of a mile in Benson, NC. My quickest post was at 10.773 @ 65.463mph. Just wondering other peoples 8th times, and where this stands.

if you calc that out to 1/4 i think it is a 16.7.... so you are looking at basic honda territory

Uhhhh. 14.0 1/4 was a 9.0 1/8 in my Mustang... A 14.0 Honda would be even slower in the 1/8 because of the traction issues, but more top end pull.

thats odd... like all the 14 sec cars i've seen were all in that range. :shrug2:

as for the 2.5 60', there in lies your problem.

2.1-2.2 on street tires is good on street tires...

if you have an h22 in your teg, as your s/n implies, something is very wrong with your driving.

No H22, had one, sold it, wish it was in there. The car is a 5 speed, b18b, simple bolt on mods (H/E/I and plugs). Was experimenting with a few different launches, will work on my 60 times in the future.

work A LOT on your 60 fts.. and your shifting... think about it and apply that to where your powerband is in each gear and where you are going to be when you shift up
