flashing battery

every time i rev high and my shift light comes on for a split second the check battery light flashes. but its only when the light comes on.is the auto meter light just pulling that much power off my battery to make it flash? it doesnt stay on or anything it just bothers me.little help

check your wiring, to make sure you didn't hook your tach to the wrong lead or something

Check your belt it may be loose.

eh maybe the belt is slipping over the pulley at high speed and the altenator ain't spinning? beats me
