Flywheel And Crankshaft Lightening And...

    Where should i get my flywheel lightened and my flywheel and crank shaft balanced at? i want to take the flywheel to 11 lbs and have the entire rotating assembly balanced to 8000 rpm.

    www.sohfast.com you can buy a lightened one, or any machine shop, I would advise you to get a aftermarket flywheel such as fidanza or toda.

    make sure you take EVERYTHING to get balanced.. clutch, pressure plate, crank.. ALL OF IT!!

    i'm gonna get it done harmonically, but thanks for the info. i was told to have all of my machining work done prior to getting everything balanced.

    my next question is should i go ahead with an aftermarket flywheel or just get mine lightened, and where could i get that done?
