Hey guys im swapping a CX motor into a EG DX chassis this weekend, its not for any performance purposes, just as a replacement. The car is currently automatic and i will be switching it to stick. Now is it possible to run a manual motor with a Automatic ECU?? (i know i will get a check engine light) and if not, why not? and are there any other issues i should be concerned with as far as swapping this motor? I know how to do all the wiring to swap from auto to manual i was just curious if i could run it with a Auto ECU and not have to do the wiring. THanks guys, please help me out ASAP
