Ford widens recall of F-150 pickup to nearly 1.2M - Yahoo! News
see fords do suck ass
That would buff out.
Funny thing is the supplier that makes airbags for Ford also makes airbags for virtually every other OE.
But if it's a chafing issue that causes the problem, that's on the engineering team. I will admit that Ford has made some significant advances in the past couple of years, but in my opinion, their engineering and fit and finish has always been lacking. A lot of throw-away cars from them in the past...
Fuck there hasn't been such a thing as a non-throw away car since 1975.
EDIT* or did you mean just Ford?
Haha all car makers have recalls andi know of almoost every car brand having that problem. They don't think of shit through. I know VW just came out with a recall for brand new jettas because of wiring problem in the horns circuit would make it short out. And when it does short out it shares the same fuse that contols the ECM (or at least I think its the ecm) and then the car stalls out and can't be started again. This lead to a stop sale, how come I didn't here this on the news??
yeah, the accord IS a throw away car.
if its a chafing issue, try this
I disagree. Engines and chassis that are designed to last 200,000 miles plus with minimum maintenance are not throw away cars.
Werd. F22 was bullet proof. Until the unibody rotted in half, and you have to drive to work like this:

But when it breaks, what do you do?
my chassis has 330,000 miles and no issues.
my dad's 98 has about the same miles and no issues, other than the transmission replacement a couple years ago (it's a V6)
I'm at 270k miles on my CB7 Though, the later Accords seem like they have a lot of minor problems(like 2002 models). If I don't get a new car to replace my CB7, I'll be getting a 94-95 Accord Wagon instead.
That doesn't mean it's worth a damn penny to anyone else. Bentley, Rolls Royce... not throw away cars, Honda Accord, throw away car.
well then try and explain this: STUDY: FORD SURPASSES HONDA IN INITIAL QUALITY | Ford Motor Company Newsroom
