FORD PROBE GT

Anyone know anything about these cars? I found a 1994 probe GT for sale for $700 with a lot of miles on it. I was wondering if this would be a good buy for a car that has some perfomance but has a reliable engine. I comute almost 75miles everyday and its hurting my sol, but cant stand slow ass cars.

other consideration 1987 Volvo 760 turbo sedan <- turbo and lux

my one freind who has a mx6 (same engine) had the JDM KLZE with supercharger and ran 15.6's , I/H/E , so there not too quick

the Probe is built on the Mazda MX6 platform and the Probe GT has a Mazda engine in it....so basically its a Mazda much like my 1992 Escort GT is built on the 90-94 Mazda Protege platform...Protege engine and Protege chassis

Maybe...your friend can't drive? I've seen turbo 2.5s run 12s. So um...tell your friend to learn how to drive and then say "my friend ran this with this.."
