probably not....

even on the aircraft carriers with the steam driven launch systems they still only manage 0-150 in about 3 seconds or so... but, you see these planes in a picture and dont realize how big they really are untill you are next to one.

for ex.
there is an sr-71 at the air museum here... holy fuck, that thing is HUGE.

he said his fully stock Stealth R/T "aka 3000GT VR4" felt about the same as a jet only differance is the jet keeps going and going and going where the car after 80mph or so stops making that hold you in the seat feeling the jet just keeps it up

I still can't figure out why so many tv shows and newspapers put wow race car VS jet!!! viper VS jet!!!! F1 VS jet!!!! who gives a fuck its been done before I think they even had a jet powered 18wheeler VS jet.....

I think they should put a car on a aircraft carrier and see if it can keep up with an F14 =)
