You have to get the Type 2 to have the best- otherwise you might as well save your money and buy the Neuspeed unit. Carbing does have their "normal" bars with all solid construction though.
 
what are some other good 3 point front upper bars?
are there any good ones that aren't as much as the carbing?

that is one problem I kinda had. After a few weeks of having it, I notice this loud noise coming from the hood. I put the hood, give it some gas, nothing. It was dark at the time so I did not see the black mark on the hood from it. Put it back on, made the noise again. In the morning, I saw the line so I adjusted the rubber stopers/rests for the hood so you can raise or lower the closed positon. Now, I have no problems.
 
not too worried, I don't see myself swapping out my hood for any reason

I found the neuspeed bar for $101.75 after shipping
that is the best new price I have seen so far
actually I should be able to get 10% off at that place because of previous business so I could get it for about $90
