where are you located...I'm interested.

Are you interested in a 93 Civic Cx shell. and can you find a motor for it?
 
Not interested in the shell, but I am located in Eastern CT, about 15 minutes from the casinos... And junkyards have motors with warranties for $700.

Clean title, automatic. Body is in fairly good shape... ESPECIALLY for 176k miles... virtually NO rust. Back bumper is black (previous owner replaced it but never painted it) and the driver fender has a tiny dent from where the brush guard hit it when it got bent.

I'll get ya the vin in a little bit
 
Is it LS or LT trim level? That would be a good truck for an lt1 or ls1 engine.

Have you ever done that swap before? know any site that can explain it maybe? Asking cause my parents just gave me their jimmy for the winter, well forever, but sounds like fun for the summer. email me, dont mean to thread jack. Think of it as a free bump bro, good luck.

But as for that swap. Would the 4x4 trans bolt up to an LT or LS1?
 
I have never done the swap but I guess it is somewhat involved. Check out s10 forums, I have seen threads about it before on there.
 
no way to get it to TN... Sorry I didn't reply sooner... Forgot I posted this thread.

The 4.3 Vortec is a 350 v8 w/ the front 2 cylinders chopped off. The v8 does bolt up to the tranny. It does fit on the same motor mounts. You need to run a different radiator (thinner), electric fan, v8 motor mounts, C5 vette headers, or customs, and some custom wiring... There's a couple other tids and bits... but thats the most of it.

without the engine? Only a pic when we were pulling the engine. What in particular are you wanting to see?
