    FS/FT: 95 EG Hatch H22A

    For Sale (or partial trade?)

    95 EG Hatch (CX)
Brand new JDM H22A Swap. This is not a front clip slam in. This motor and tranny have been completely gone through. Theres about 600 miles on the motor and tranny. The car itself has about 120k on it.
    Place Racing mounts
    Raxles axles
    Custom tuned exhaust
    Adjustable coilovers
    Aluminium integra radiator (full width)
    P13 ecu
    Integra gauges

also comes with a set of Mugen ultralight 14" rims for slicks. these are way better than running steels at the drag strip.

This motor was built for a turbo, the plan was to put a tuned p28 ecu in it when the turbo went on. Hench the p13 now. But ive decided to sell instead.
    It screams along pretty good.
    $6000

    Im located in Clovis NM.
I will deliver to most places in the US for the price it would cost me in diesel to drag it.
Please feel free to call me if you want more info, or email. Im happy to send more pictures. Be specific on what pics you want.

Could you possibly deliver to Illinois? How much extra would it be?
    Also, 1/4 mile?

1/4 mile should never be considered when buying a car. nice, clean hatch. you might want to post more pics though.

I am out of town at the moment, I will post more pictures on sunday evening or monday. the interior is clean except a small tear on the drivers seat from getting in and out. ive been trying to get it into an upolstry shop to have the whole seat redone, but we are having scheduling issues.
As far as a quarter mile time, I havnt had it on a track.

The 96 and up H22's are FRM. This motor came from a 95 JDM Si-R and did not require sleeving.

    1. No, the issue with FRM sleeves is that forged pistons tear the sleeve up. so the cylinder walls dont last long with the forged pistons required for high boost applicaitons.

    2. Again, this motor is not re-sleeved. It DOES NOT need it. only the 96 and newer H22 blocks have the FRM cylinders. this block is from a 95.

Are you familar with what FRM is? It means Fiber Reenforced material. They are basically reenforced aluminium sleeves that are .5mm thick. they were installed in 96 and newer H22 blocks. When you install aftermarket forged pistons in a block with FRM cylinder sleeves, you will have a problem with the piston tearing up the walls very quickly.
that being said, 95 and older H22 blocks came from the factory with iron sleeve inserts. Therefore, removing and replacing FRM sleves is not nessasary. The Iron sleeve blocks can also be bored a few times without being re-sleeved.

    hope this helps.
