yeah thats what I thought it was too for the a while , but that is the sound produced by the bov . It releases the pressure . Just has that sound to it .

Yeah it came with my turbonetics kit so I am assumming its turbonetics .

Have you removed the top of it ever? Some come with dual springs inside, you remove the 1 spring and the sound will be a LOT more crisp

yeah it has 2 springs in it . I never did anything with it but adjust the top screw. I swapped out to a HKS bov and this one is going out of here .

Bump !!! I took out one of the springs and adjusted the set screw and what do you know , it makes the correct sound and it's kinda loud...

Nobody is building a turbo kit and lacking a bov ?
