Ah, about a day ago, I went to check my email in the morning before school, then it says my DSL modem is not working. So then I check all my connections then restart. Nothing, except for about 15 error messages on the opening screen. Now, I try to open up my ISP program, it wont even run (it says there is an error and no more info at this time.) then it closes. So now I am without internet except for my 50 minute computer class. Computers suck. I am probally just going to backup my porn, MP3, and word document files then going to reformant my hardrive and upgrade to windows XP (i got 98se now)


Just venting.

Alright, a little update. Since I dont have a 98se CD, I would have to spend the 200 on the Full version of XP. So, since my computer was pretty old (pheniox bios, 900mhz AMD Athlon, blah blah blah) My dad says, hell why dont we just buy a new one. So now I have a HP (yea I know, not the best but better then what I had) With a 2.4ghz processor, dvd rw and alot of other cool stuff
 
Yep, for about 500 more then just reformating with XP, I am finally in the new Mellinium with computers. My old video card was faster, so I will be swaping those out. Everything else is bigger and better. One down side with XP, the modem software for my DSL only ran on 98 so I had to use dial up (uber slooooooooooooooooooooow) to download the Modem software. Now it's so much faster. I did back up my porn, and MP3's. I am going to have to get used to the XP's interface. The explore is pretty weird too.
 
you can change it so it'll look like a "classic" version of Windows. go to Control Panel->Display->Themes->Windows Classic. click on the Windows Classic and the Start button along with everything else will look something like Win98,WinME or Win2k. thats what i did because i could never get used to the new look...lol
