ok...so im driving in my b16 turbo and when i get on it to where the turbo spools my a/f gauge says that it leans out...which i figure is because of the stock injectors...but here is my question....would it be something else because of the lean-ness? like for instance something that reads the pressure like the fpr or the map sensor?

I gave you a answer, you maxed your stock injectors out, you have no tune and are running the motor dangerously lean and If you want to blow it up that up to you, And I can afford shit that why my turbo y8 would blow the doors off your untuned pos ready to blow the hell up b16.

You obviously have no clue what you got yourself into when you when turbo, you did no research I posted what you will need to be turbo on your other thread

basically you should start with the injectors and see from there if thats the problem cause you would need to upgrade on that first but depending on how much your boosting tune can wait for a little bit but you should consider getting that done when ever you can and bump for you man shit takes time to do especially if you wanna do it right so start with the injectors i believe ebay will have them

first of, yeah the injectors should be swapped out for bigger ones, but there was no need to lay into this guy t3t4delsol. He is here to ask a question, thats what you do here. Anyways start with injectors and go from there.

dude, you need 450cc or bigger injectors and a fuel pump before you even CONSIDER driving that thing again. these parts are MANDATORY in a boost setup. do some research(try this site). also, if you dont want it run like hammered dog shit youre gonna have to get it tuned--crome at the minimum. i cant believe that youre running no management with no fuel setup and the shit didnt blow up on day 1. consider yourself lucky

i did do research...thats why my a/f gauge says its running extremely rich until boost....thats why i dont get on it because i know what will happen......but anyways....i know i should get at least 450cc but would 550 be better?....and am i going to need a fuel rail because i've heard both but my friend who had a b18c turbo didn't need one...j/w :S

you dont need a new fuel rail or a fuel pressure reg, get some dsm 450s and a resistor box, a walbro 255 fuel pump, some arp head studs. Seriously you cant drive that your running your motor extremely lean and detonation is right around the corner. Also I dont care what your air-fuel ratios says, unless you have a wideband o2 sensor the gauge is useless. hondas come stock with a narrowband o2 sensor and putting a gauge on that only makes a light show. When you get the larger injectors let your tuner install them, if your try to install them yourself and try to drive it the car will not even start, because of the size difference, stock are 270cc and the dsms are 450cc. If you want to spend the extra money on 550cc by all means go ahead, but if your on a stock block there is no chance of peaking out the 450cc, You would probably be around 70% duty cycle

I'm not trying to be a dick, I just dont want to see you posting a month from now telling us that you blew your motor and now you got to rebuild it. I would personally stop driving it until you have everything you need to complete it and its tuned, Don't forget your going to need atleast a stage 2 clutch because your stock on will slip. and a catback exhaust, I would also recommend a high flow cat, your going to need to get the air out as fast as your putting it in

That is solely dependent on the size of the turbo and the amount of psi being pushed through it. I have seen bone stock b16a's with sheet metal IM, walbro 255 and hondata with 720cc injectors on 28 psi with a 60 trim peak duty cycle at 85% and that was a slightly rich tune, not even on the FAT side.

like you said 28psi there is no way your pushing 28 psi on a stock block, the 450cc dsms will be plenty

For him, yes. For the people who like to push boundaries, no. :) That 28psi was on a completely stock engine, with only a new (oem) HG, and ARP head studs. It did last for about a half of a season, encountered overheating problems which caused it to melt a piston in cylinder #3. Other than that, that shit went 10.90's all day long.

if you are running 2psi, go with the stock injectors ! they will work :D , do the things right get another injectors and something to manage them, and the a/f gauge its a wideband ??? , or just a regular a/f gauge ? , GET WIDEBAND !!!!!! .
