My cousin has a 93 dx hatchback and my goal is to put a b16a sir II in it. I would like it to be a daily driver and still be as dependable as hondas are. But with a little more punch. I want keep it NA and i was wondering what kind of modifications would help me get more power out of the engine.

Upgrade the valvetrain and add slightly more aggressive cams (if daily driver). Port and polish the head. Get a quality header and exhaust system and get it tuned.

Don't forget a good fuel pump and regulator really helps dial in the fuel just right.
