Gametrailers.com probably hates me

Thank god for internet connections at work

I was getting about a meg a second with just one connection, which progressively dropped with each download. I probably sucked up all of gametrailers.com's bandwidth during this little transfer.

Reminds me of the time I got written up at work... I (being a dumbass not knowing what would happen) turned off *ALL* the restrictions and limiters for my file sharing program. Two hours later I was handed an inch-and-a-half thick printout of the IP addresses connected to my box. I had floored the bandwidth of a state university... NOTHING else would go through.

However, since I was instructed by the department VP to download classical music selections, I was only given a small wrist slap and the issue was never put on record.

I considered that... but only AFTER the downloads were done

We have a DS3 though... I probably didnt slow down the rest of the network much, but an extra gig of bandwidth may well stand out to the network guys.. we'll see what happens
