Ridiculous. How come whenever stupid shit like this happens the entire police force comes out, but when real crimes are happening, they're no where to be found? The last MMA fight I was at, one guy got his shoulder dislocated, and the fire marshall, an ambulance, a firetruck, and two police cruisers showed up. For a dislocated shoulder! WTF are our tax dollars paying for?

we just went to PA this weekend

its fucked up when you need to show out of state ID to get access to the "cool" fireworks
anything with a report is banned in PA for PA residents to use
you need to prove you are taking it out of PA before you can buy or even see the good stuff

so right after we crossed the state line with a trunk full of goodies, the rear tire blew... not cool

This sucks! If i knew they were selling illegals I would have been there in a second buying. Would have saved me a trip to NH. Do you know exactly what they were selling?

Well, 1,700 pounds of explosives at a gas station probably wasnt a good situation.

"Illegal firework" as in quarter sticks of dynamite, or roman candle out of season?

in CT, we are allowed "sparkler"-like fireworks. IE, no shell that fires off, nor m80's, etc.
anything like that is not allowed.

That's my kind of law. I don't get why we have to be limited because some retards don't know how to use them properly and blow limbs off and shit.

wait, let me take a pic of my closet... it's full of explosives. Most are mortars, double breaks. And we have a collection of roman candles and firecrackers.

I personally love the Rocket Club, but I'm a big fan of the other ones in here called 'Evil Balls' We lit one up in the middle of our housing complex on New Year's. It was very loud, but very awesome. The cops came one night we lit some off and said 'Those are very pretty... where did you get them?' We said 'Are you serious?' They said 'You got 5 minutes to clean up and get out of here'

    We were lucky.

Here you go... This is only 1/3 of what we had before, but we're bringing more home from Vegas. We usually spend about 1k on a good fireworks show.

We do neither, sir. Artie used to put on pyrotechnics shows for Los Banos (their Spring Fair, Celebrations, etc) so he's smart with fire. Plus he builds explosives and has a record for it... so I trust him with flame. I don't think he wants to blow himself up, but we've had a few close calls before...

Once, the tube for the mortar fell over... that was interesting... but at least it fell the opposite way. We learned to bring a solid platform. :)

The only fireworks we give the kids are the sparklers, they love em. But, they love to watch the shows we put on for them too. We go way out on a small road that's surrounded by water. We usually don't get bothered.

So, who wants to come out for the July BBQ at my house? I'm working on getting the overgrown weeds/plants out of the backyard... The spa will be filled and functional by this weekend. :)
