Gauge Cluster swapage!

Hey guys , so basically this is how i understand it....90-91 si gauge cluster will work in 90-91 dx,lx etc PLUG & PLAY... im throwing one in my 91 dx hatch and found one but its in a 91 civic special edition... looks exactly like a si cluster and its probably the exact same thing but just thought id ask you guys befor i go ahead and buy it, thanks in advance

lx is the same cluster,tach and all,how much for thr special edition?? you could get a lx/ex sedan cluster for cheep and its the same as si.

Make sure to get the proper auto or manual one.

Direct swap as long as you go by this youll be fine.

88-89 into 88-89 civics
90-91 into 90-91 civics

They have different wiring and cannot be directly swapped without some repinning of the cluster.

^^ I learned that the hard way. I started out just swapping the gauge cluster..then the dash..then one chassis harness...then the other chassis harness and engine harness.... but it made mpfi and a jdm d15b easier.
