general clutch and shifting Q

hi all.

i was wondering instead of buying that steel hard line that snakes around the firewall for the clutch.
would i be able to buy a stainless steel (brake type) hose directly from the clutch master to slave??

I don't think you'd have a problem if you routed it and mounted right. But I think it's cheaper for the hard line, it only costs like 10 bucks to have it bent into shape.
