well I met a guy that has a 71 camaro wit ha twin turbo big block in it. and while we were talking he mentioned that when he was at the dyno he maxed it out as in the dyno couldn't measure the hp/torque being produced. he didn't specify whether this was an engine dyno or a chassis dyno

So does anyone know what the maximum output from a motor a dyno can measure ??
or is there no set limit as to what a dyno can accurately measure ??

Yeah- I've got a video of a turbo Mustang maxing out a dyno about 2/3 of the way through its run... 1200whp. I'm guessing it topped out around 1500whp at the end.
