I'll vote for anything pertaining to illegal immigration and the deportation of said immigrants the instant the government starts doing something about outsourcing.
 
I vote for presidents. I'm just glad all the commercials will stop. In South NJ you get Phili stations so you get commercials for PA and NJ politicians. Holy shit is it annoying.
 
each commercial you hear on the radio costs $XXX, each TV CM is $XXXX, each newspaper ad =$XXX.....a coat for the homeless =$X

If you think they actually count the votes to decide who goes into office, you're pretty fuckin gullible.
It's all decided by people who have much more money/power/political influence than any of us common citizens.
Voting is a waste of time. It's a smokescreen to make you feel like you're makin a difference.

Even if it's in a limited capacity there's no reason not to participate. So what if you don't know what the candidates are like? What about the ballot measures? Sadly I doubt most people have the reading comprehension to vote on those.

I don't care how meaningless you think your vote is - fact of the matter is that who we put in office determines what new bullshit laws I'm going to have to deal with on the next ballot, and I'd like to make sure the next batch of ballot measures make me vomit less than this year's.
