Ive finally saved up enough to invest into some 15X6.5 Spoon Sw388's. So far from the research ive done the best tire size would be 195/50's. What do you guys think?

i think you should just get some rotas. everybody is going to think you have knockoffs anyways. use the extra money you save to get a better tire.

Wow, well if E and Blanco both agree about it, it must be so. That's like 10 normal peoples opinions combined :D

Ive thought about it, but I'm thinking i'll to keep this car for awhile and keep pouring money into it. When I get out of school it's going to be caged and turbo'd. I figured if I skimp on the wheels I will just regret it later. And everyone has slips, not many have the real deal. I got a hook up with tires. I can get 4 BFgoodrich Sport tires for $60 a piece

not to burst your bubble, but working in the tire industry... personally, i'd go with 16's and go with a 205/45R16... it totally opens up the possibility of tire choices, not to mention it the same height (within mm) of the 195/50, but you get just a hair (10 mm) wider contact patch.... just my 2 cents though...

yeah but he could just as easily go with a 205/50/15, theres shit tons of good tires in that size and they tend to be a bit cheaper

I was just going to say that, the older Miatas use that as a factory size so there are plenty of tire options.

Shit, I got two sets of slicks of a spec Miata too, for $100, one set (4) of Toyos shaved to 3/32 and another set (4) of Kuhmos with like 6/32 left on them.
