Looks good. I love 50/50 shots. And yeah, my buffing pad was black after just 1 pass with that trunk.

i am not having good luck here. again, limited to firefox, i cant upload pictures. on my pc only. i click "upload a file" and nothing happens. go into more options, and nothing happens. go into chrome and it works fine. is this something to do with flash settings? or what?

before: scratches scratches scratches. junkyard lid, so its probably been used as a shelf quite a bit.
check out that custom orange peel. if i had any inclination that the paint had the ability to handle it, some wet sanding would have done wonders. but, it would have probably made it much much worse.

here you can see the texture of the paint in the corrected section. lots of trash and pits in it. and can see better that the scratches arent merely scratches, but gouges where the paint is just not there.

also, for shits and giggles did half of a mower hood i had lying around.

they're no easier to keep clean in those states than yours.
hell, arizona and southern california are probably two of the worst choices. that brown dust is always blowing around.
