getting error code 43

Friend of mine getting a code 43 on a 90 integra getting light hesitation sound like a fuel pump to you guys? doesnt get the code often but first time he got it he was idling second time he was driving.

honda fuel pumps dont die.....ever.

check the fuel filter, mine just crapped out on my 90 teggie
