Also, Samsung just hired one of the lead guys behind CyanogenMod.
I'm hoping this means better standardization across mid to upper market android devices.

im looking forward to this.
its a very smart move for google because Droid is synonymous with the android OS. shoot my girlfriend, and probably along with millions of "non-tech savvy," people, thinks an android phone is a Droid, but abbreviated.

meeh, for the most part, wall street suits know absolute close to shit about the tech industry.
-amd bought ati, they said all is bad, but ati allowed amd to survive and now they have fusion.
-apple as a whole. everyone was betting that would eat it, but now one the most, if not the most, valuable public company in the world.
most recent ones i can remember off the top of my head, but i think google buying motorola is infinity times better than releasing google plus. almost every company that has a smartphone OS owns hardware too. MS will follow suit.
