    Wow. That sucks.. He really did fly all the way through the taco bell.. . "100+mph" might be an understatement.

    How does one hit a taco bell at 100+, anyway? Thats a pretty damn big object.

    Who in there right mind would go that fast without atleast a helmet ?

    i doubt the helmet would have saved him....

    but where the fuck was the rest of the protective equipment...

    here in australia you get pulled over if you aint wearing your helmet and jacket and boots :mellow:

    but god dayum that is some fast ass foood

    our laws here vary by state.

    i beleive all states require eye protection (glasses of some sort)

    20% of states have a helmet law.

    and thats about it.

    No eye protection required in Texas.. Or I don't remember anything being mentioned about it in the motorcycle book. I think they just changed the helmet law, used to be you had to prove that you had a minimum of $10k in life insurance to ride with no helmet. Now, I think its just a registration thing, pay $5, you get to ride with no brain bucket. Thats just from what I've heard, though.

    If you've ever been whapped by a decent sized bug at 80-100mph, you'd know that wearing eye protection is just common sense.

    You should always ride with a helmet, reguardless.
