gov or no gov

    ok i was just wondering i am pretty sure my 1994 accord has a gov on it but i know it can go faster than that how do i take it off or what just asking cause tonight on the highway i was folling my friends and my car was keeping up with them and then it just stop at 4500 rpms and i know it has more so just some things i can do about please help

    yeah my 91 accord does the same thing, both of our cars have govs on them, but i too am wondering how to take it off?

    if you get your ecu chipped it usaully removes the govenor

    yeah, I'd probably go to the ECU forum, and ask them which ecu or modification would work best. My 92 Accord never had that problem. When I switched engines, I tried to sell my old ECU on Ebay. I couldn't get $20 for it. If you are not looking for more performance, don't overpay. :roll:
