does anyone know how to disable the governer on a 92-95 civic/del sol
at least thats what i found to be the case when i had my D16Z6 in the sol
so what about a mini-me in a 91 hatch?
you think it'll pull over 125 mph?
i'm sure it wouldn't pull STRONG, but anything would be acceptable
It's true...I was in 4th at around 124, and that is what it maxed out at...you can't go faster than the amount of hp the motor has...unless you have a Ford that's rolling downhill.
i hit 145-150 in my hatch with a del sol engine in it...
Big difference of a 160 hp motor in a car that weighs 2100 lbs, and a 128 hp motor in a car that weighs 2400...Just FYI.
you can get a single cam up to 130mph, it'll just take you a while.
my hatch tops out at 120 (dx mt) and i know a girl that has an ex coupe at and it cant even break 100
I got my 88 lx sedan ZC to 135. Mind you the 88 only weighs 2150 about. But civics where not ment to go that fast it just doesn't feel right. Even with a full suspension and 205/15s. I would rather be in a porshe haha
funny... my sol felt rock solid at 150+
