You sign-up for an account and then online shop through them via other online vendors and you get a check every quarter in the mail. Last year I got back close to a hundred bucks for shopping at sites I already order from.
For example just today I ordered a Nesco Roaster for my dad for Christmas. I logged into my Ebates account and then clicked on their Boston store link. I saved 25% off and got free shipping from Boston Store but then I get another 4%back just by going through the Ebates portal. I did the same thing for my wife on some clothes from Kohls.
