people like you make me sick, do some research damit, greedy kits are junk, there way over priced small ass turbo kits, you could peice a kit together for half the price of a greddy kit and make double the power

Greddy is a great kit for what you spend. You can safely run 8psi on a stock engine, stock fuel system. No tuning is required and you can make 180whp easily and reliably. I personally like MORE power, so I would go a different route. But if you want more power, it will not come cheap. Fuel pump, injectors, engine management, tuning ontop of a larger turbo, external wg and so forth...

okay tell me this, sorry im new to honda you've probably all heard these questions 100 times.
with the low compression turbo pistons (CP pistons) eagle rods and some mild head work. what kind of boost could i run even with the greddy kit what kind of power could i get if i lower the compression and run higher boost and all. i know i will have to get a tune and upgrade the fuel system

a b16 can handle 250-300 hp on stock internals.

Build/piece together your own kit if you want 300 hp.

I guess that means you aren't capable of building a reliable setup?

no i didn't say that what im sayin is i want to retain the AC and everday drivability. i had alot of issues out of the vw golf i turbo'd and don't want the same on this car. i was thinking when i get the money for this turbo kit sitting it in the closet and getting Cp 9.1 pistons eagle rods. getting some turbo cams dual valve springs and a valve job before i get it together does this sound like it will be a reliable setup? what kind of psi can i run with the greddy kit before i have to get a tune instead of running the greddy e manage

greddy kits are nice, but a little overpriced. the turbo they give you is definitely worth every cent, but most of their kits are straight bolt on basic kits, most of their entry level setups arent even intercooled! and they retail for an arm and a leg. do some research-it makes things easier, safer, and therefore more fun for you. blancos right-if youre in cali, youre beat. otherwise, piece together a nice little kit on your own(intercooled w/ a nice tune - i suggest crome), add a decent clutch setup and expect 250w or slightly more, safely

and that should be at 8-10psi if you have a relatively competent tuner

from what ive heard here the Edelbrock kit is by far the best bolt on kit.
you are able to produce more power with their set up.

I just looked up Edelbrock's kit and it is way better then the GReddy kit if you are comparing the two. It comes with a GT28R and an intake manifold. I think it would produce much more power over the Greddy. Both are good kits though
