im so fucking sick of driving old cars.
as im driving home from work i shift into 2nd gear and snatch half of the damn shifter off. it literally broke in half underneath just inside the shift knob. know i have to buy a whole new shifter and knob.
every single day the sol is making a dif noise. i drive 4 miles a day total, how is shit gonna fuck up.

yeah i like it, the damn plastic on the front in the inside likes to pop off though. prolly an easy fix i just havent got around to messing with it yet.

looks like limo tinted window from outside, from inside it has a blueish tint.

to buy one from ameripool its like 5-600 bucks, but thats just for the plexiglass. then you have to have all the inside junk put on it. i bought mine for 500 from a guy off here who was parting out his sol.

i was gonna get a cf roof, but the plexiglass one weighs in at like 3lbs or something ridiculously light so i figured what the hell :p
 
I wouldn't mind a CF roof, the OEM one is heavy, but I'm sure it's not worth the price.
 
they are like 600 bucks, same as a cf trunk lid.

whatever forums that teamdelsol is on nowadays, thats where i found them, but this was like a year ago.

and it prolly doesnt come with the interior plastics put in.
cf roof and plexiglass weigh pretty much exactly the same.
 
I dunno if I would like the whle sunroof shit...It's nice to have a plain roof, and take off the top when needed. BTW, when did you get a job, Micah?

hell im tired of my old janky ass 1990 Integra. its getting to be a pain to drive. the damn thing has a coolant leak, drivers side axle making noise, bent rim, chewed up rims, cracked windshield and leaks around the doors. hell there are alot of other things that im irked about on that damn car but fuck it. it can rot and die for all i care after i get my truck on the road. anybody wanna buy a 1990 Acura Integra?? :ph34r:

and wasnt a serious wts thread, i really do love the shit out of my del sol. im just freaking tired of dumping money into it.

although i am considering selling just for that reason, and because im working on getting the s40, and im looking at getting a cheapo bike to play around on. i only need so many insurance payments ;)

1989 is almost too new. I like 91 Civics, but that's the newest I would go.

Try driving a 1981 Celica for size.
