grs pistons in my ls block question

    i want to put grs pistons in my ls block for my ls vtec. just woundering is this a good combo. if so what will my compression be and what rod do i use the ls ones i hope. ;)

    They won't fit the LS rods. And I don't think they will yeild 10.0:1 on a B16 head, more like 9.8:1(the GSR gets some of its compression from the smaller combustion chamber). Get B16 pistons. They yeild about 11.2:1 with the B16 head and the fit the LS rod. You cannot use GSR/ITR pistons on a stock LS rod, you have to have them shaved, but B16A/B pistons fit. Be careful with CTR pistons, the yeild something like 12:1.

    My bad you are right.

    They still won't fit w/o modifications.
