GS-R or SIR?

Im talking about the tranny(gear ratio)wich trany is better>

Try using the search button, or actually looking on the site before posting a topic like this.

Also, asking which one is better is a dumb question. What are you usng the car for? The shorter the gears, and the larger the final drive, the better the acceleration. You sacrifice highway gas mileage with a shorter geared tranny, but if you don't care about that, then get the shorter geared transmission if you want the car to acccelerate.

b16 would be your choice...but imo the gsr is a way better all around tranny

yep.. i love my GSR tranny... i had the b16 tranny, but my freeway gas milage suffered with it

sir trans with an LS fifth gear in it.. i did that with my ITR trans and it was amazing. great accel and great highway mileage... it only took about an hour to put in and was like 80 bucks straight from honda
