I know most would say no, but for a price of 50 bucks would it be worth it? In a 00 Civic Si, with jdm b16
No tune (stock PT2 ECU), no upgrade of valve-train., w/ stock sprokets. Just the stock GSR cams. I know they are good OEM choice for boost, but boost is not in my future for this motor.

Would they give me any noticable gains? Just looking to do something cheap, but somewhat effective. I figure even if I choose later to upgrade, I could get my money back by reselling them. Want to try & drop a my E.T a tenth or so before the end of Nov when the track closes. I figure it is cheaper then getting a header or some other bolt on part.

So in short 50 bucks, worth it:huh:?

The old one did a dyno test and it was worth 10 hp on a mildly boosted engine with everything held constant. I have a boosted B16 and did GSR cams, it hits hard at switch over, I set my cross over at full spool 4500 rpm, for me it was worth the 50 bucks.

I think the best B-series cam combo is Gsr intake cam with a b18c5 exhaust cam.
Yeah gsr cams are far better than B16's

I have a 1.9L ls/vtec with gsr cams and b16spec oversized pistons.....fully built head....tuned on crome and the shit is fast for what it is. 184whp 147ftlbs

do the research ! this is what this forum is about so this question has been brought up plenty of times in the years past.
Also please read the rules..no threadjacking.

hell i might as well.. gsr cams are good becuase they provide the best duration and lift out of all of them. In turbo cars you can have a large overlap.
