gsr knock sensor trouble

ok i have a jdm gsr in my crx running off a p72. it is lacking power and the only code i have is 23 knock sensor. in low rpms when you give it a bit of gas it stalls till around 3000 vtec kicks in right at 4500 and i can see iab open when i rev it from under the hood and its runs smooth at idle. so my question is can a knock sensor make my car run so slow and stall

I dont think so

I have the same engine and ecu in my 94 civic. My is throwing a knock sensor as well but mine runs fine minus the check engine light keeps coming on. Only comes on after engine is up to temp. I would check ur vaccum lines.
