Gsr Shut Off

    whats up i have a delsol with a gsr motor in it and when i was drivingthe car just shuts off out of no where. so i pull over and check under the hood i see that one of the spark plug wires were off of my distributor. i pluged it in and try to start it and it dont want to start what could be the problem. :unsure: :unsure: :unsure: :unsure:

    Check your ignitor and coil or it could be a relay it's probably somethin in your distributor though.

    Most likely you were making your coil work triple duty to jump that spark to the unplugged wire and you hot spotted your coil. In the distributor-look for white and/or green ozone build up in the cap. Take out the coil, the little metal case around it slips off, and look for discoloration (hotspots) on the coil.

    i found out that the distributor went bad
