I have a 97 civic that i swapped a 97 jdm b18c gsr obd2 into it and everything runs fine. The engine light comes on randomly every time I drive it, sometimes it comes on as soon as i start the car or sometimes 20 minutes later. I think it usually takes a while for it to come on when its hot out, when its cold it comes on right away. If I floor it when it is in 4th or 5th it comes on sometimes too. So I think it is one of the o2 sensors but not sure. Does anybody know why my obd2 reader gets an error when I plug it in? I have tried 2 different readers and they will not read it. Thanks.
