gsr throttle cable

ok i dropped a jdm gsr motor into my teg and the ls throttle cable was to long to fit the little brace for it on the throttle body so what im asking is, are the throttle cables for tegs all the same or is the gsr one different? and i need to go buy it or is my throttle cable retarded?

you are supposed to use the gsr throttle cable, but i have heard of people using a ls throttle cable but you have to make your own bracket.
