hi, i am going to install boost and air/fuel gauges and i was wondering if it is a necessary to remove the negative battery connector. the reason why im askin is because i have a problem with my alarm. i dont have the remote anymore, so when i disconnect and reconnect the battery, my car will beep and will not start. i usually have to mess with a toggle switch to get it running. i will try and fix that in the future. just wondering. thanks.
