Gude Head

What's up I came accross a pretty good deal for a GUDE head..

It has the following done to a d16z6 head..port & polished, Gude cam, Valve Job, Milled .. thats the basics of what was done .. all by gude ..

Would this head be worthwhile on my part? Does anyone know the power this head is capable of adding to my engine..

Anyone have experiance with gude heads?

Gude has a long reputation for selling crappy work and even crappier parts. I would avoid it.

Thats kinda funny cause in the escort world gude > anything else... including pacesetter...which are about the only two companies that make headers for the 1.8.

Anywhere from -13209324 hp to +1230980235 hp until it broke. It really depends on what other modifications you had already and what you were willing to do while changing the head.

spend your money elsewhere, or start a thread now for archive purposes on "my gude stuff sucks" which you can later post to after installation.

"86 prime rib" means teres no more rib left.

86 gude, means, there shouldn't be gude parts on your car

well i own a gude head for a ls. i bought it as a p&p head only it wase bare and i hade to install valves springs and retainers and cams. I never dynoed the car but i gould tell a huge diffrence on it and i would recomend them to someone. on the other hand i have heard of there parts breaking so i would be leary of they internals.

hey rev, just to be a deuche, the 1.8 escort has headers? j/p. i had always heard that GUDE was no bueno. for honda stuff atleast.
