It would be possible to swap in either engine and boost it. However to swap in the h22 and boost it would be considerably more expensive. Yes it would make more power but you would be paying alot for it. Swapping the d16y8 engine in would be fairly easy, even for a first timer. With a safe 7-8lbs of boost it will make very reasonable power and torque. More power and torque then you would get from any basic b series swap. That is the route i would go. Make sure you get some good fuel management that is the most important thing of all. Since obd2 computers suck for tuning purposes I recommend runing a obd2a-0bd1 jumper harness so that you could run a obd1 p28 ecu. If you go this route it will save you alot of headaches down the road. The obd1 ecu can be socketed so that you can tune and burn a chip for it. I recommend looking around in your area for someone who has the brains and hardware to tune it for you. CROME and Hondata both work very well. You will also need some 440cc injectors and a higher flowing fuel pump such as a walbro 255lph.
