H brace with a LS swap

im looking for a good way to stiffin up the front of my hatchie....i was thinking about an H brace...but i have heard that theres an issue with it fitting with the b series swap...anyone know if this is true or what???
 
No problems. If you're running a header with a large collector, you might have problems- but most fit just fine. The brace clears the B series engines without issue too.

No rubbing issues until I bottomed out...
 
I liked the H brace a lot. It stiffened things up quite a bit, but the tubing is weak once it gets hit by a big rock or you bottom out on it. It was too easy to damage. The tubing is just flat tube steel- so it'll be quite strong under tension and compression along its main axis, but any other forces will kill it. I went through two in a few months. It also didn't fit under my new header, so I can't use one anymore.
