This may be a simple, ignorant question but are cams for the H22 interchangable with the H23. Crower makes stock H22 cams but I don't know if that'd be a good idea to use. If you have any cam spec suggestions for a basic bolt-on H23 that would be helpful. I'd prefer not to have to upgrade the rest of the valvetrain.

H22 = VTEC
H23 = Non VTEC

So the answer to your question, which B has answered already is no.
The only way you would be able to use H22 cams on an H23 setup is if you did an H23/VTEC swap. You take the cylinder head from the H22 and put it on the H23 block.

claims are claims.

fact is, theres no where for the middle vtec lobe to go.
theres no lost motion assembly... its BS, or he basically made the entire inside of the h23 head h22-like

I guess I haven't spent enough time looking at Honda non-VTEC heads. 99% of my time was spent dealing with VTEC heads, either SOHC or DOHC.

would the h22 cam not fit, or would it fit, but then just not be able to use the third lobe. That would be useless, I know because of the econo lobe but just curious.
