H22 civic clutch

    I have a 96 civic with an h22 and im replacing the flywheel and the clutch and was wondering if there are any kind of problems with the shifter cables?

    Why would there be a problem? Does having a cable shifter indicate that you couldn't change a clutch?

    will the shifter cables have to be disconnected before the tranny is dropped to change the flywqheel and clutch or can they just be left on without worry of them kinking or anything like that??

    Well, I would assume as long as you took the proper steps not to put them in a position to kink, than yea, it's fine to change the clutch.
