H22 obd-1/obd-2 any difference?

to make a long story short i have a chance to get my hands on a 97' h22 engine that im planning on putting in my crx. my only question is will it matter if i use an obd-2 engine and run it with obd-1 ecu? i need to know cause im planning on smogging it legally.

so please tell me every difference, wiring,emissions, etc.
