H22 or B16

    what would be faster, the H22 or B16 in my 93 civic hatch?

    Depends on the build.

    Stock for Stock, straight line, H22.

    Stock for Stock, track car, probably B16.

    The engine weight is a cornering disadvantage in the light civic.

    H22 has way more torque than a B16, so it's a no brainer in a straight line. However, a built B16 could easlily outrun a stock H22. Your goals and cash flow will predict which way you go.
