i own a 92 civic.i was wondering what you would recomend in terms of a swap. Because of my budget i can only afford a b16a or a h22. The b16 seems to be more practical and easy, but for around the same price (for the motor) i could drop in a much more powerful h22. However i have heard about many problems involved with putting a h22 in a civic.

It isn't the same price,or even close.Since you have to spend $600 on the mounts and then either piece together or buy custom axles, and then you either have to cut your fan or buy a new slim fan. Both engine are going to have "hidden" expenses, like new oil, coolant, seals, gaskets, timing belts,etc...little things that could be wrong and need replacing.
