in a straight line the h22 will be faster without a doubt

However, its REALLY expenseive to do the h22 swap. There is a LOT of custom fabrication that has to be done to fit an H series motor in an EF. I would suggest that you look elsewhere for bigger power, like a CRVTEC or LSVTEC.
