putting a motor into a car literally only takes 10 minutes of aligning the motor mounts with where they are supposed to go. The majority of the consumption of time comes from prepping before and after. Also it's important to have all the correct components so that you don't have to waste more time than would actually need.
I wouldn't go with a 1.6, I would drop something 1.8 in it atleast.
